Shining Star, Part 5

The final set of white diamonds/points is complete, and the final set of lilac diamonds has begun. It seems like the farther along I get with this baby blanket, the more the center part puckers up. I hate when I have problems like this with otherwise awesome patterns.

I love the original design of this blanket--round instead of square or rectangle and the star design inside the circle. By the way, the designer is Karen J. Hay, and I admire her for coming up with this unique design.

I'm going to continue on and see if the center puckering will eventually ease up as the blanket gets bigger.
