I managed to get started on this butterfly and got one large upper wing completed and a little bit of a start on the second large upper wing. This wing is about as big some some of the whole butterflies I've already completed, so the completed butterfly may end up being as large as the first butterfly I made for The Butterfly Project, or maybe even larger. I just hope it's within the size guidelines, but hard to tell at this point.
It's difficult to see in this picture, but there is a row of green in this wing amongst all the blue and yellow. Maybe the green will be used in other places in the other components and be more easily seen when the butterfly is all put together.
